Lego Store unto itself

The highlight of the week and perhaps the year is that there exists entire stores dedicated to just LEGO!!! Can you imagine? Can you believe the happiness?

Max and Bruno not only picked out special LEGO sets, but actually talked to the "knowledgeable" store clerks about LEGO!!! What a great day!

Boeing Flight Museum

While I was at a workshop; the boys went to Seattle for the day to 1. visit the flight museum and 2. visit the lego store in Bellevue Mall
Great pics, Dad!

Not sure Bruno would make it into space....the angle's a little wonky on the helmet!!!

Shaved!!!!

Always a shock to have a shaved dog...but his coat always grows back...

Some fixing up we did this summer...

The office, playroom, tv room with lots of cupboards for lego and bioncle building. As well, shelves to display the many creations made by creative boys!

This summer we painted the top two floors white; and lay gray carpets. Here is the boys' room.

More fun photos!!!

New Camera

Here I am taking pictures during our "family meeting". Chris is the judge; presiding over the case of Max vs. Bruno; seems like one hit the other; then one pushed the other, and lots of tears and sadness were the result.

I lost my camera on Max's 9th Birthday....how could I do that!!! So, there are no pictures of our fun day!
However, here is my new camera: a Canon Powershot S95!!! I love it!

Back to School ...how did it happen?

I find myself saying, "How did Max become a grade 4 student?" or "Bruno, aren't you going into grade one?" No....grade two!

Time slips away and the boys grow up. Inside I cry a little bit; but I am also incredibly happy for their new adventures ahead...

Family Motto

I always tell the boys "reading is the most important thing". Bruno told me, "I thought it was love". That is my Bruno.

So we came up with a motto: "Love, read, and play". These are the most important things.
