Climbing in Stores

We went shopping at Mountain Equipment Co-op, which was a first time for me, in about 10 years. Max climbed the wall. A very west coast experience. Bruno watched, amused. Only in Vancouver!!!!

Penguins and Projects

This project is so exciting: Penguins! Max chose to study the Emperor Penguin! It is great to see Grade Two's doing wonderful projects. Max's friend, Pietro studied the Macaroni Penguin! Thanks Miss Hewitt for all the great work! You are a fantastic teacher and really stretch the grade two's!!!

My Boys who Ski

Lots of skiing going on in the Wiesinger household!!! It keeps us really busy!

Bruno the techie guy....

Bruno already knows how to use the cell phone, take photos from it, and so forth. At five, he knows a great deal about techie things and this will come in handy for mom!!

It Doesn't Get Better Than This...

Max and his group, skiing at Grouse Mountain. It was the most beautiful day with temperatures around 19 degrees: balmy and beautiful!!!









The entire city was blanketed in fog, so it looks as if one is looking out over the water!

January haircuts!!!

Boris is going to obedience classes. Doesn't look like he needs them here, but he will learn
a. not to pull on the leash
b. not to freak out little dogs
c. how to come when called

January is skiing time!!!

Every Sunday, we are at the base of Grouse Mountain by 7:20 am, so that Max can be part of the Tyee Ski Club.....we are very tired in these pictures. Bruno with his instructor, and no pictures of Max skiing because he is off with his group tearing down the runs!!!

A visit with the Cousins!!

We had a great time with Cory, Josh, Auntie Sarina, and Uncle Vic. It was hard to get a photo of the four cousins!

I gave Max my bag from university days: remember the Bree bags? He was very excited to have his own briefcase!!!

Year in Review

We had a great 2008: Bruno finished preschool, and started Kindergarten; Max began Grade Two, and we acquired a family pet - Boris the dog!!! Hope 2009 is great for everyone with good health and good cheer, and lots of happiness!!! Love the Wiesingers
