Hallowe'en is here!
I made these fun treats for Bruno's class....it was lots of fun and he was very excited to share treats with his class...
Number 7
Max is on the volleyball team, and I think I am becoming crazy screaming mom at the sidelines. We don't do a great deal of team sports, so I am not used to being the typical soccer mom, but my goodness, it comes out anyways. Never a fan of volleyball when I was young, I am really loving watching Max at his games!!

They are so little, and so focused and having so much fun!
Boris loves the Volvo
My dear friend Magda and her family bought a Volvo that seats 7 people. I have huge car envy as you can drive the kids and their friends, and of course, the poochie. Boris was in heaven and he clearly would like one too!

Walkathon, Multicultural Dinner, Pet Blessings
We just finished one of the busiest weeks in the school year; there was the blessing of the pets, the St. Francis Feast day luncheon, cross country meet, Multicultural dinner, and Walkathon!!! We are relaxing this weekend and taking a break from it all!
Cross Country Running
Here are the boys at the annual Cross Country Meet for all the Catholic schools; the boys compete against other schools in a running race. The weather was perfect, and it was lots of fun to see all the other schools.

Santiago and Max and Bruno...friends!!!
Happy Thanksgiving

We've had a busy fall thus far; cross country running, pet blessings, school dinners, and lots of celebratory activities. We are full on into the swing of the school year; and loving it. There is lots of learning, growth, and time for friends. We are grateful for all of it! Happy Thanksgiving from Max and Bruno!!!

What a boy wants....

This year, Max decided that he didn't want a birthday party. Instead, he wanted his best friend to come over for a sleep over. So this is what we did:
Max's dear friend Pietro came over in the afternoon; the boys had lunch and played; then we went out for dinner at the White Spot; then we went to the church choir performance; then we came home and the boys watched a movie with popcorn. They watched "Iron Man 2" which just came out on DVD. Of course, Bruno was there all the way. They stayed up late and had a grand old time.
And, I was surprised at how easy it all was!!!! Happy 9th Birthday Max!
