Destination Imagination 2010...We Won!!!

Since November, I have worked with a terrific group of students from St. Francis of Assisi Elementary on a creative problem solving program called Destination Imagination. The students have worked really hard, and did very well at our regional tournament on Saturday. We placed first in our category and age group. The program was a huge time commitment, but it was so worth seeing their happy faces and excitement in winning and in learning so much!!!

It's been 10 Years......

March 18, 2000 we were married.....how quickly the years sail by. Thanks for the great 10 years so far and looking forward to many more!

Finally, Chris, took me out skiing and gave me lots of tips. My goal is to be a ski bum!!!! I really want to improve my skiing and be one of those fantastic beautiful skiers that I so envy.




Now that the boys are so good, I can finally get to improving my own skiing!

Sun Peaks Galore

Last weekend the boys competed in the annual Nancy Greene Ski League race held at Sun Peaks Resort outside of Kamloops. All ski teams that run a Nancy Greene program compete in this fun event. The weather was fantastic and the boys had so much fun!

Was spending all day and every day with my Max and Bruno.. I loved every second of it!!!

Back to Reality

This is what we returned to: skiing in the fog and grayness of a Sunday morning; sans the snow!!! We went home early to watch the final game between Canada and the USA!!!

Colours

In Vancouver, it is gray from November until April. I was drawn to the vivid colours all around me. So refreshing!!!

Tulum

We visited ancient Mayan ruins in Tulum....the boys were most impressed with the iguanas that ran freely over the grounds of the ruins.
