Who goes bowling?....We do!

Okay, we went bowling. It was a little bit frightening and crazy - I mean, really, who bowls? The boys loved it and had so much fun!

Here are Max and Bruno with Teresa who is with them when I go to work!!!!

Check out the bowling pose. I sure hope this isn't a trend!!!

Spring Break Ski Camp

I blame it on Global Warming because it has been such an awful rainy spring break. The rain has been torrential and Vancouver has been overcast and gray and really depressing. Skiing has been very wet and foggy, but still fun. Max wants to be a skier when he grows up. Here he is on the chair with his instructor. While Max is skiing, I have found my new love - snowshoeing!!! It was a great week up the mountain!!!

Having Fun with Moustaches...

While Mom looks on in a bemused fashion, the boys play with moustaches. Max really has the "actor" in him, and likes to play the villian...

I believe this is an Einstein moustache...

A fun way to spend our Anniversary....we can't believe 7 years ago we were married, and look at all the greatness we've created!!!!

Super Sunday at the Art Gallery, March 18, 2007

One event that is always well organized and really wonderful for kids in Vancouver, is Super Sundays at the Art Gallery.

Max with his dear friend Sebastian

We missed the St. Patrick's Day Parade, but happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!!

Why Max really needed Spring Break

Max was really exhausted before spring break, so he felt that he needed to pull down his pants (thank goodness, not his underwear) at school. Well, it didn't go over so well...
As his parents, we really loved the lines...I think lines should come back into schools in a big way!!!! Forget all this restorative justice and talking about your feelings stuff: allow the kids to practice their writing and printing skills. It is all very retro and I love it!

Student Lead Conferences for Kindergarten

Max and Dad at Student Lead Conferences...my first being on the other side of the picture!

The only issue: Max didn't want to talk about his work and became very shy.

A visit to Max's school for Ready, Set, Learn...

Bruno visits Max's school to learn about reading and how important it is... an initiative started by the provincial government to promote early literacy.

An Awful Rainy Weekend...Science World Graduation...

Looking down on Burrard Street in the rain, and drawing pictures. It was raining so much this weekend...when is Spring going to arrive?

Are these our last few stroller days? I believe that the days of using our stroller are near the end. The boys are ready to be free, but Mom doesn't want to get rid of the stroller just yet...she needs more time!

Science World: we've graduated from the baby/toddler enclosed area to the big area!! Another big change. The boys loved running around and exploring on their own.
