Christmas Eve 2006

We follow the Austrian
and French Canadian tradition of opening presents on Christmas Eve. After Christmas Mass, or Midnight Mass, you return home and open gifts - Santa arrives while at Midnight Mass. Well, we've taken out the midnight Mass, and we've started the tradition a little earlier so the boys are in bed by a decent time.
Christmas morning is all about playing with the toys!!!

Bruno's Christmas Concert: December 21st, 2006

Bruno's class did a wonderful Christmas Concert!!! Here is the fabulous Mrs. Eng, who is the director of the preschool, and one of the best teachers I've met (and I know my teachers!!!)

Bruno is enjoying the cupcakes!
Here are the three year olds that meet every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Merry Christmas everyone.

Max's Christmas Concert: Once Upon a Starry Night

Here we are - the entire school on stage...
Bruno and his classmates taking the school bus (for the first time) to see the Performance

Bruno in his brown coat
Who are these shephards? Max's kindergarten class. The entire school was involved in a production called "Once Upon A Starry Night". The kindergarteners were shephards. A fantastic performance by St. Francis of Assisi School!!!!

Finally, able to get a picture of Max

A Visit To Santa

This is the first time the boys have visited Santa. They look a bit hesitant. In previous years, they were too frightened to sit on Santa's knee. Bruno asked for a toy from "ToysRus", not really understanding that Santa has a workshop at the North Pole!!!!

Then the snow storm...

So it snowed in Vancouver. It was fun for a few days, and then we were glad to see it go!!!

Chris trying to look amused. We are such "West Coasters" that the cold is really not for us.
