Skiing Season Begins

Racer Max in his ski suit ready to tackle the ski slopes

Sun Peaks Village...we are back for the kick off of an exciting ski season.
I love the village...it is such a small, quaint place to be.

There was some great snow for the beginning of the season.
Geared up and ready to go...
Bruno and the U12's warming up with coach Tamara

On the chairlift ready for my first run of the season.
The view was spectacular, and the snow was wonderful.

View of the training course..the different ski clubs "rent time" on the course so that they can train the racers on course tactics.
Sun Peaks is a very special mountain;  I love the terrain, the people, the snow, the fun times we have had there as a family!  Welcome to the ski season, everyone!

Never thought November could be busier...we are gearing up for the ski season, and Christmas (these photos are for our annual Christmas card), and school projects, and life in general...
 The boys are fantastic...

 And fun....

Cheers!

Saint Day

The day after Hallowe'en and the boys needed to dress as a Saint....so we chose St. Francis of Assisi - our favourite saint!

Old t-shirts, a rope around the waist, large crucifixes, and small birds to put on their shoulders!
Happy Saint Day and welcome to November!

Hallowe'en for the Big Kids

Bruno and his friend, Mikah....a skateboarder and a Bruno costume creation...it was hard to get a photo of the two!

The infamous Pirate Ship house in our neighbourhood!

Max went to his first Hallowe'en party and went trick or treating with his classmates..the first one without me, and Bruno, or Dad!!

Birthdays and Walkathons

Max turned 12 in September...he planned his own birthday party, which was so fantastic.  I must admit, I am a little tired of planning birthday parties...I think we have moved onto a new phase of the "low-key" birthday......

The boys hung out, played video games, watched a movie, ran around at the park, ate lots of food, and had a great time!

Here is Max involved in his last walkathon......here he is with his buddies in Kindergarten...I don't think he let go of their hands for the entire walk!
Here is Bruno and his classmates....hard to believe Bruno is in grade 5 too!

 Smile Bruno!
