Mexico: Porte Morales

Here we are in Porte Morales, south of Cancun. Beautiful beaches, blue water, and the sun. We played all day in the surf!!!






We went away for the Olympics....so sorry Canada, but we needed to get away!!!

Early Spring

Flowers in the yard in February...a little early.

There is no snow!!!

The Olympics are a few days away, and we are enjoying a wonderfully mild winter. Where is the snow? We are rock skiing on the local mountains and our ski club is heading off to Apex to be able to train more rigorously. Hope there is enough snow for the events!

SFA Open House

Our boys' lovely school....the annual open house. Great work, and fabulous projects in grade three and grade one!!! We love the Olympic Theme!!

Whistler ...at last!!!

Finally we are able to ski with the boys...we no longer have to put them in camps and we can ski as a family. We had so much fun and we can't wait to ski as much as possible....the weather was great and the views were spectacular!!!

Art Gallery

We visited an exhibit on art in British Columbia and we made protest signs to go along with the local BC art....the photograph behind the boys is of a protest against cutting down old growth forests.

The Eiffel Tower

Max is studying the Eiffel Tower for his unit on Structures. He was so excited that he build a model out of lego!!!! We can't wait to go to Paris and see the Eiffel Tower..maybe soon!

Ski Racing at Seymour

We had a great day at our first race with the ski club....go Bruno and Max!!!! Max is in green and Bruno has a great yellow ski jacket!!

Skiing has begun....

The boys and mom and dad will be skiing every Sunday and Thursday for the next three months....here we go for a great ski season....we hope the weather co-operates. Here are some past photos of our ski bunnies....

Happy New Year 2010!!

We spent New Year's Eve skiing at having a quick dinner before packing it in!!! We were all in bed by 10, and missed bringing in the new year!!!
