Reconciliation for Grade Two's

Here is Bruno, participating in his first Reconciliation.  The students in grade two must participate in their first confession before First Communion.  Serious boy, thinking about his first confession.
Father Gino talking to the Grade Two Class.  He did a great job comparing Reconciliation with "cleaning your room" and putting everything in order.

Max and Mom whispering to each other..
 Dad and Maximilian watching....
Bruno and the fabulous Miss Hewitt!!!

Basketball

Basketball season just ended and Max had a great time; it was a bit challenging trying to figure out offense and defense, and all the rules, but it was a great experience for Max!

Forgot about Valentine's....yikes

We love Valentine's Day and all the creative valentine's to get.

Boris received his first valentine from his lovely Poppy!!!  How cute!

We almost forgot....Happy Year of the Rabbit!!

The kids marched in the hall for Chinese New Year!!!!

Harry Potter

For school, the boys had to dress up as their favourite character from a book; Max is Dumbledore and Bruno is Lord Voldemort.  Love the contrast between good and evil!

White Spot

When Dad is away, our default place to eat dinner is the White Spot.  Chocolate shakes and hamburgers and ice cream!!!!! What a treat!

School Work School Work

I love projects!!  Here is Max's Arctic Project he has worked so hard on!  Great drawings Max!

Ski Race at Seymour

Sunshine and crisp snow....make it a great race day!!!!  A few photos of the boys who are hard to catch right now!!!

 Bruno in action!!!!

Waiting at the gates to do the course

School Open House

We will not look at our Mother who is taking the photo!!!!!
Bruno has demonstrated himself as quite the writer...here is his Penguin story that is displayed in a cube format.
Bruno's Penguin Project again, with the other students' projects.

The boys' school had their annual Open House; and here the boys did not want me to take a photo.  Are we at the age where we are "too cool for school"?.

We've been skiing...horray!!!

January is nearly gone, and we've had such a busy time skiing every weekend.  I love it; and I am doing my best to get better, but it takes lots of practice.  Both boys are on their own and are becoming fantastic skiers!

Penguin Party

Bruno is dressed for his Black and White Penguin Party...what a prepster:  he's wearing a navy tie with a navy blazer!!!!

No more kisses from Mom, apparently...lean away...we're at that age already!

Penguins

That time of year again for the Penguin Project in Grade Two.  Bruno studied the Macaroni Penguin, and he did a great job putting his project together....that's it...the last of the Penguin Projects for our family.  Makes me a little sad that half of grade two is over......but happy that we are all moving forward together!

Basketball

Well, we have entered the world of team sports, and it is a great one!  Learning how to be part of a team and playing basketball is turning out to be fun; and I am turning out to be the "shouting" mom at the side of the court.  I didn't realize I was that competitive....yikes!
