Seattle Woodland Park Zoo

Our favourite place in Seattle; can't believe that is has been 4 years since we were last here.


The animals were exotic and stunning; but in another way it was so terribly sad as all the animals are endangered. Every single one....a bit overwhelming. However, it was fantastic for the boys to see and learn about these magnificent creatures. Time to get the boys involved in conservation efforts.

Taking the Train to Seattle

For an adventure, we took the train to Seattle for the day.....I believe the boys' point of reference was the Hogwart's Express; so they were a little surprised we did not have our own room!!!





However, it was lots of fun and a beautiful scenery!

Family Reunion 2010

Our 10th anniversary of the Robertson Family Reunion.....here cousin Linda and Hollis are celebrating their 25th Wedding Anniversary!

Great job cousins; we are looking forward to more reunions with toasting the Haggis!

Brotherly Love

Their love for each other amazes me all the time...it seems to get stronger and stronger through the years.

Playland

The boys have been begging me to go to the fair grounds to go on the rides. Well, boys love these places, although I loath the experience as I am fearful of the rides!! My claim to fame is that I have never been on a roller coaster and never will be....




Imagine my surprise as Max went on this wooden 50 year old rickety roller coaster!!! I was so scared..look at it; how can this ride be safe?

A year long adventure

Our dear friends are going to Brazil for a year! Max and Bruno's dear friend Sebastian is taking off in a few weeks. Here we are at Sebastian's sisters birthday....Lua turns seven! We will miss them terribly but are excited for them and their fantastic journey!

We are still the biggest Harry Potter fans!!!! I remember reading the first book long before I had sons and thinking, "I can't wait to read this to my kids". Now, they are reading the books on their own!!!
