Back to Reality

This is what we returned to: skiing in the fog and grayness of a Sunday morning; sans the snow!!! We went home early to watch the final game between Canada and the USA!!!

Colours

In Vancouver, it is gray from November until April. I was drawn to the vivid colours all around me. So refreshing!!!

Tulum

We visited ancient Mayan ruins in Tulum....the boys were most impressed with the iguanas that ran freely over the grounds of the ruins.

Hotel

The Now Riviera Cancun was a great place to stay. The boys ate Froot Loops Cereal and Chocolate Coco Puffs for breakfast; and lots of ice cream the entire day! Not the best diet but fun for a while.


Our big room was lots of fun!!!

Happy Family Time in Mexico

Mexico: Porte Morales

Here we are in Porte Morales, south of Cancun. Beautiful beaches, blue water, and the sun. We played all day in the surf!!!






We went away for the Olympics....so sorry Canada, but we needed to get away!!!

Early Spring

Flowers in the yard in February...a little early.

There is no snow!!!

The Olympics are a few days away, and we are enjoying a wonderfully mild winter. Where is the snow? We are rock skiing on the local mountains and our ski club is heading off to Apex to be able to train more rigorously. Hope there is enough snow for the events!

SFA Open House

Our boys' lovely school....the annual open house. Great work, and fabulous projects in grade three and grade one!!! We love the Olympic Theme!!
