Multicultural Party at Preschool

Bruno and Horsey had a great day. Bruno's preschool held their annual Multicultural Party. Each student is to bring in things representing the country their family is from. We chose Austria. Since we have no memorabilia from Austria, Mom had to make the poster!!!!
But, I was able to make little Austrian flags for the sausage and cheese plate!!!

Happy Mother's Day

The boys wanted to get home to play with their water guns. I feel so guilty but the rule is "only use the water guns on ants and plants" so here they are spraying ants with water. We sure had a great Mother's Day!!!

Mom and Bruno spent some time together while Max was at school. I miss the days of just being with my sons...it seems rarer and rarer as we are always racing off doing too much stuff. Can't believe my baby is going to be 4 years old in a few weeks!!!

Visiting Lord Nelson Carnival

Don't you love Max's new pants!! How preppy! I had to buy them. Time for golf lessons!Max and Bruno and their friend Sebastian went to Lord Nelson School Carnival. It is the school up the street from where we live, and I used to teach there. Bruno won a green emerald ring - do you remember these from the dentist office? Love them.

Bruno loves taking pictures. So, I let him loose with my camera, and he took some great photos!!!It is very interesting to see what a 3 year old will take photos of: a great deal of furniture and life at his eye level...

Sunday Rain and we are inside

Max likes to spend time writing in his journal. He is at the inventive spelling stage, and he likes to write about sharks, tarantulas, and Spiderman.
Max and his writing skills: Max wrote, "I like tarantulas because they are big" "Sharks. This is a great white shark"

Mom knit a baby blanket for Aunty Sarina's baby. We are still waiting for the baby to be born.
Max and Bruno have a new favourite book: Skippyjon Jones. We love this book, and we think it is the bomb!!! Max's new nickname is "Skippy jon", and we are saying phrases like " holy guachamole" and "crazy loco"!!!! Thanks Stephanie and Owen and Finley from Paris!! A great choice in reading!!!
